Greater Fort Lauderdale Condominium Reviews

Every condominium has its own personality. No one knows a building better than the people who live there. This is where you can post opinions about the condominium you live in, what you like about it, what you dislike - really anything that may be of interest or value to people looking to buy condominiums in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. Are you a fan of the Riverwalk and downtown riverfront high rises? Prefer the beach area? Flagler Village? Is something happening at your building that will enhance its value? Are you a buyer looking for information from owners more candid than developers and realtors? Post your comments here!

  1. Icon will have units starting at under 900 square feet, with pricing around 650.00 per square foot. May seem pricey, but that is half the price of the beach front condo hotels, and Las Olas Beach Club.

  2. Watergarden- I live at the Watergarden, and personally I think it is the nicest building downtown. The common areas are great, the quality of construction is excellent, there is a nice mix of ages in the building and the pool is awesome.

  3. Las Olas Grand - I think this building is the best value in Downtown. The views are far superior to River house and most units in the Watergarden. (Although those on the North Ashley units will have their view partially blocked by Icon when its complete). Its also one of the best values on a price per square foot (which explains the lack of inventory). Plenty of elevators too - 3 per floor with only 3 units per floor. The Watergarden is also beautiful but much "busier" building. Amenities at Watergarden are also very nice and the design of the hallways is probably the nicest of any condominium I've seen.

Does anyone know if Village Lofts by Crosswinds is scheduled to break ground? What about The Heights? Seems as if these projects get announced and never built.

  6. Condo fee can be high if the location, the over view is better.
